Case study · Web platform

Partner showrooms, private stock, buyers waiting. Seven conditions decide the match.

The Collection is a private, by-appointment dealership for high-value cars in Islamabad. We built its public website, quiet and editorial, with one action: Enquire. Behind it we built the operator dashboard: stock held across partner showrooms, a shared social inbox, and automatic matching of waiting buyers to new arrivals on seven conditions, with an instant alert when a newly listed car fits.

The Collection homepage: the logo and the line "Acquired, never simply bought." over a dimly lit showroom lined with luxury and sports cars, with a single Enquire button at the top right.

The brief

The build had two halves: a public website for a dealership that sells by appointment, and an operator dashboard for stock that sits across partner showrooms and for buyers who are waiting on a car that matches.

  • One action on the public site A website that sets out how a purchase runs, from first enquiry to handover, and asks the visitor for one thing: Enquire.
  • Stock from several showrooms The dashboard had to hold stock from partner showrooms while keeping each showroom's stock private.
  • A shared social inbox Social messages had to be handled from one shared inbox in the same dashboard.
  • Buyers matched to arrivals A newly listed car that matches a waiting buyer had to raise an alert straight away, and the match had to be exact.

The site had to ask for one thing; the dashboard had to work out which waiting buyer a new arrival was for.

What we built

A public site with one action, and an operator dashboard that checks every new arrival against the buyers who are waiting.

  1. The public websiteThe site sets out the dealership's four principles (discreet, editorial, provenance-led, understated) and the purchase in four steps: enquire, private viewing, due diligence, then acquisition and handover. It carries a single call to action, Enquire.
  2. Multi-showroom stockThe operator dashboard holds stock across partner showrooms, and 33 access rules keep each showroom's stock private.
  3. Shared social inboxSocial messages arrive in one shared inbox, part of the same operator dashboard that holds the stock.
  4. Buyer matching and alertsWaiting buyers are matched to new arrivals automatically. Seven conditions decide an exact match: variant, mileage, year, budget, colour, papers and availability. When a newly listed car matches a buyer who is waiting, the alert is instant.

What changed

  • Every new arrival is checked against the waiting buyers Matching runs automatically when a car is listed, and a fit raises an alert at once.
  • An alert means a full match The match holds on all seven conditions, not most of them, so the car an alert points to meets the buyer's terms.
  • Stock, messages and buyers in one place Stock from the partner showrooms, the shared social inbox and the buyer matching are all part of one operator dashboard.
